（戴）罪立功
Redeem oneself by good service
suī rán bèi fǎ guān cái pàn yǒu zuì le，
雖然被法官裁判有罪了，
Although the referee found guilty by a judge,
dàn shì fǎ guān jǐ yǔ fàn zuì zhě lì gōng de jī huì
但是法官給予犯罪者立功的機會。
But the judge to give the offender the opportunity to meritorious service.

（比）（比）皆是
Everywhere
pín pín lǚ lǚ dào chù
頻頻，屢屢，到處，
Frequently, often, everywhere,
dào chù dōu chōng mǎn zhe
到處都充滿著，
Everywhere is full,
xíng róng hěn píng cháng huò cháng cháng
dào chù dōu kàn jiàn de dōng xī。
形容很平常或常常到處都看見的東西。
Often described as very common or something to see everywhere.
zhè chéng shì lián nián zhàn zhēng， rén mín táo wáng dào lín jìn guó jiā， bǐ bǐ jiē shì。
這城市連年戰爭，人民逃亡到鄰近國家，比比皆是。
This city years of war, the people fled to neighboring countries, everywhere.

Prohibitive
xíng róng dāng yù dào wēi xiǎn qíng kuàng huò kùn nan cún zài shí，
形容當遇到危險情況或困難存在時，
Describe the situation when danger or difficulty exists,
jiù wǎng hòu tuì bì 、duǒ cáng de yì si。
就往後退避、躲藏的意思。
On the next retreat, hiding the meaning.
wǒ suī rán xiāng xìn xī yī zhì liáo yǒu kē xué gēn jù ，dàn shì duì yú màn xìng jí bìng ，wǒ shì wàng ér què bù de。
我雖然相信西醫治療有科學根據，但是對於慢性疾病，我是望而卻步的。
Although I believe that western medicine has a scientific basis, but for chronic disease, I was prohibitive.

（ jiù ） yóu zì qǔ
（咎）由自取
Themselves to blame
xíng róng rén shòu dào zé bèi、 chǔ fēn dōu shì yóu yú zì jǐ bú dàng xíng wéi de yuán yīn ér zhāo yǐn lái de。
形容人受到責備、處分都是由於自己不當行為的原因而招引來的。
Describe the person to blame, punishment are due to reasons of their own misconduct led to the move.

（嘔）心瀝血
Painstaking
bǐ yù hào jìn xīn jī 、xīn xuè， yǐ dá chéng mǒu shì。
比喻耗盡心機、心血，以達成某事。
Metaphor exhausted effort, hard work to achieve something.
jīng guò shù nián de ǒu xīn lì xuè， tā zhōng yú wán chéng le zhè yí bù zhǎng piān xiǎo shuō。
經過數年的嘔心瀝血，他終於完成了這一部長篇小說。
After several years of painstaking efforts, he finally completed the novel.

變（幻）莫測
Unpredictable
yóu yú biàn huà wú cháng， suǒ yǐ nán yǐ jí zǎo yù cè。
由於變化無常，所以難以及早預測。
As capriciousness, it is difficult to predict as early as possible.
shàng tiān de ān pái biàn huàn mò cè，
上天的安排變幻莫測，
Arrangement of God unpredictable,
hěn nán xiáng xì kàn qí jiàn zuì hòu de jiē guǒ。
很難詳細看其見最後的結果。
Difficult to see in detail the final result.

不（假）思索
不（加）思索
Without hesitation
xíng róng bú yòng duō jiā sī kǎo， wú lùn shuō huà、 bàn shì dōu xùn sù mǐn jié。
形容不用多加思考，無論說話、辦事都迅速敏捷。
Described do not think more, whether to speak, things are fast agile.
tā wú lùn shuō huà 、zuò shì qíng dōu yìng duì mǐn jié ，hǎo xiàng bù jiǎ sī suǒ de yàng zi。
他無論說話、做事情都應對敏捷，好像不假思索的樣子。
Whether he was talking, quick response to do things, like the way without hesitation.

fēng chén （pú） （pú）
風塵（僕）（僕）
Shuttles
xíng róng bēn bō máng lù huò lǚ tú xīn kǔ、 fēi cháng láo lèi de yàng zi。
形容奔波忙碌或旅途辛苦、非常勞累的樣子。
Busy, or traveling back and forth hard to describe, very tired look.
zài lù tú shàng shān， lù nán zǒu yóu ，yú fēng chén pú pú， zhǐ hǎo tí zǎo zhǎo yì jiā lǚ diàn zhù xià。
在路途上，山路難走，由於風塵僕僕，只好提早找一家旅店住下。
On the road, mountain walking difficult, due to busy schedule, but to early to find a hotel stay.

gè xíng qí （ shì ）
各行其（是）
gè rén àn zhào zì jǐ rèn wéi zhèng què de yí tào bàn fǎ qù zuò shì qíng。
各人按照自己認為正確的一套辦法去做事情。
Each according to their own set of ways to do that right thing.
nǐ men de jiàn jiě bù tóng ，zhǐ néng àn zhào zì jǐ xiǎng fǎ， gè xíng qí shì。
你們的見解不同，只能按照自己想法，各行其是。
You have a different view, only in accordance with their own ideas, their own ways.
10.
（ gōng ） yú xīn jì
（工）於心計
Calculating
yǐ zhěn mì jì móu、 líng qiǎo xīn si zuò wéi shǒu duàn、 gōng jù děng qù chù lǐ zhòng yào shì qíng。
以縝密計謀、靈巧心思作為手段、工具等去處理重要事情。
With careful trick, clever mind as a means of tools to deal with important things.
tā shì yì míng gōng yú xīn jì de rén ，nǐ méi yǒu bàn fǎ hé tā jìn xíng jìng zhēng。
他是一名工於心計的人，你沒有辦法和他進行競爭。
He is a calculating person, you have no way to compete with him.
